What Causes Tinnitus?

Tinnitus Cure

Tinnitus Cure

Millions of people around the world suffer from tinnitus. You may not know this but at one time in their lives, 18% of all Australians suffer from this illness. It is more common than most people realize. But what causes it and why is it that some people have it while others do not? We’re going to answer some of these questions in this article. Hopefully, this will help you understand why you or a loved one has tinnitus.

Tinnitus is a symptom that is produced by a variety of ear disorders. The problem with this illness is that it is very hard to diagnose. The reason is because, at its core, tinnitus can be caused by one or more of five parts of the hearing mechanism. Pinpointing which one is difficult if not impossible.

On top of that, there are other factors that can contribute to tinnitus, including a blocked ear canal, blocked Eustachian tube or even something as simple as an ear infection. If you ever had an earache as a child, did you ever notice that humming inside your ear? Well, that is a form of tinnitus caused by the infection in your ear. In most cases, it clears up. However, there are times when it doesn’t and leads to a long term battle with this problem.

Other causes include drugs which can damage the inner ear. These include aspirin and certain antibiotics. Hearing loss itself can cause tinnitus. Have you ever noticed that occasionally you’ll get a ringing in your ear? (if you don’t have one constantly) Each time that happens, a degree of hearing is lost. Usually, it’s slight enough that you won’t notice it over time.

Even something as simple as anemia can cause tinnitus. The reason is because not enough blood is being directed to the parts of the body that affect hearing. This is why anemia is such a serious problem as it can affect you in so many ways.

If you’re suffering from tinnitus, the cause probably isn’t your main concern right now. You’re more interested in an effective treatment. In my signature, I’ve reviewed a great book on this subject. I think you will find it most helpful in getting hold of a treatment that brings relief.

Some Important Facts About Tinnitus

Tinnitus Treatment

If you are reading this article then you are probably suffering from tinnitus. In that case, I don’t have to tell you how annoying this condition is. You have to live with it every second out of every day and it’s far from fun. Well, there are some important facts about tinnitus that you need to know for your own sanity as well as your piece of mind. Hopefully, this article will be able to give you the piece of mind you’re looking for.

The most important thing that you need to know is that tinnitus is not life threatening. One of the biggest fears that people with this problem have is that they are afraid that there is a more serious underlying problem like a brain tumor because of the headaches that are usually associated with this illness. In most cases, after testing, brain tumors are not found. For that matter, no serious problem is found. This should give you some piece of mind.

You also need to understand that surgery is an option. I know it’s not the most pleasant one, and the results are not always optimal, but in severe cases of tinnitus, surgery has proven to bring significant relief. As with any surgical procedure, there are risks involved, so you need to take them into consideration should you decide that surgery is the option you want to take.

Finally, there are alternative therapies for tinnitus. These range from relaxation training to hypnosis…many of which are quite effective. There is no real medical cure that anybody has found yet. There are several causes for this problem that I’ll get into in another article, but nobody knows why some people have it and others do not. It is one of the very baffling mysteries of the human body.

Fortunately, as I said, there are alternatives. In my signature you’ll find a review of a great book on this subject. It will give you options that you probably never thought of. Personally, I think this is the way to go before having any kind of surgery. So at least read the review and make an informed decision. No drugs are involved with these alternatives either.

You can live with your tinnitus and it doesn’t have to drive you crazy in the process.

“Can Tinnitus Be Cured?”

Cure For Tinnitus

Cure For Tinnitus

Many people suffer from tinnitus. I know people personally who suffer from this terrible condition. If you’re reading this, then you probably already know just how bad it can be. What you might not know is what causes it and if it can be treated and maybe even cured. Well, this article is going to give you some information that I am sure you will find helpful.

So what is tinnitus? Well, unlike normal noise that is generated from outside of your ear, tinnitus is generated within the ear itself. A person can have this condition in one or both ears. If you are suffering from this problem then you probably are experiencing a ringing, buzzing or humming sound in one or both of your ears. If you’ve ever taken a seashell and put it close to your ear, that’s what it sounds like.

There are other symptoms associated with this problem in addition to the ringing, buzzing or humming sounds. Somebody suffering from tinnitus may also experience dizziness…in many cases leading to loss of balance. Other symptoms are headache, pain in the ear itself and a sense of fullness, almost like there is water in your ear. These symptoms can be annoying to the point of debilitating.

Fortunately, tinnitus is not serious. You can live a very long life with this problem. But it can be extremely annoying, especially in cases where the headaches are severe. Many people worry about things like brain tumors. Fortunately, these things are rarely found in people who are suffering with this problem.

So, can tinnitus be cured? Well, there are many theories on this. There are some drugs that are used to treat this problem but none of them provide long term relief. These drugs include intravenous lidocaine, alprazolam, and some anticonvulsant medications. But the relief is usually short lived and side effects can be as unpleasant as the problem itself.

If you click the link below, you will find some information for natural treatments for tinnitus. These are the most effective treatments that you will find without resorting to harmful medication.

We Need Renewable Energy Sources Now

Solar Power Home

Solar Power Home

Okay, the madness has to stop. This past summer I was paying over $4 a gallon for gas. Oh sure, now gas is back to under $2 a gallon, but how long until we see the damn break open again and the next time we hit $5 a gallon? We need to stop living in a fantasy world. The US has an energy crisis and it is quite real. We need to stop counting on the Middle East to supply us with oil or we’re going to be up the proverbial creek without the proverbial paddle. Great, so what are our alternatives?

Well, for starters, we have solar power. Solar power is essentially getting energy from our sun, which is certainly going to last a lot longer than the world’s oil reserves. Energy from the sun can be used to generate electricity, heat your water, light buildings and so on. The way it is done is through the use of photovoltaic panels. Don’t ask me how they work. I am NO scientist.

Then we have wind power. Wind power is generated by using a turbine. These are usually mounted on towers. They collect wind energy which can then be converted into electricity. This is actually a great source of energy because we are always going to have wind…sometimes more than we would actually like. If you don’t believe me, ask the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

Another great source of renewable energy is water power. The great thing about water power besides the fact that it is renewable is that is produces no waste at all and no carbon dioxide. Waterpower, or hydroelectric power works like this. Water is held behind a dam forming an artificial lake. When the water is released, the pressure, which is quite great, spins the blades of a giant turbine. The turbine is connected to a generator which makes electricity as it spins. It’s that simple.

My friend, we need these renewable sources of energy NOW. If you want to discover how you can do this yourself and save hundreds of dollars a year in energy costs, check out the link in my signature.

Are We Running Out Of Energy?

Solar Power Energy

Solar Power Energy

Man, that is a VERY good question. I don’t know. Let me look outside and see if the sun is still shining. Okay, all kidding aside, the world is in a mess as far as energy goes. The oil reserves are slowly dwindling down to nothing and we’re all afraid that the next nuclear power plant is going to be our last one. The prospects for the future are not very bright. But just how bad is it?

Well, let’s take a look at some stats. In 1999, which was back in the days when we weren’t as bad off as we are now, the US consumed 95 quadrillion BTUs of energy. If that doesn’t sound too bad, they only produced 61 quadrillion BTUs. If you need me to do the math for you, that’s a 34 quadrillion BTU energy deficit. Now, I’m no scientist but my gut tells me that this isn’t good. Call it a hunch.

So the big problem is simple. We consume more energy than we produce, which means that we have to rely on other countries to keep our lights on and our microwave ovens running. I don’t know about you, but that thought doesn’t make me all warm and fuzzy inside.

According to a United States Geological survey, we have about an 80 year supply of oil and gas before it is all gone. While this may not have much of an impact on my date with eternity, there are going to be a great number of very cold and hungry people when that day comes.

Now, the big question everybody asks is, “Why don’t we just drill for more oil right here in the United States?” Well, if you ask one group of people, namely the environmentalists, they’ll say that it will basically screw up the ecology, to put it in less than scientific terms. I don’t know how true that may or may not be, but I’m not ready to take that chance.

That’s why we need renewable energy sources, and trust me, we have them. We have them big time, from solar to wind to you name it. And the wonderful part is, you don’t have to rely on your government to do this for you. You can put together these alternative sources yourself in a snap. I’m serious. This isn’t hard stuff.
